Razer Blade 18 review: Overpowered and oversized
Packing new 13th-gen Intel chips and 40-series NVIDIA GPUs, the Blade 18 is Razer's biggest and most powerful gaming laptop yet. But starting at $2,900, it's also one of its most expensive, so what does all the cash really get you?
Sam Rutherford04.21.2023 ‘Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo’ is a delightfully subversive visual novel
What makes visual novel Paranormasight so much fun to play through is a rich vein of subversion. The characters have plenty of delightful quirks, which reminds me of Capcom’s Phoenix Wright series, but Paranormasight feels a little smarter.

NVIDIA RTX 4070 review: The new 1440p gaming leader
The RTX 4070 is a solid 1440p gaming GPU that can handle ray tracing like a champ (with some 4K chops in a pinch).
Devindra Hardawar04.12.2023 ‘Super Mario Bros. Movie' review: A fun but safe Mushroom Kingdom romp
The Super Mario Bros. Movie is a great kids film, but it's afraid to take any major creative risks.

Acer Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition review: Glasses-free 3D is just pointless
While Acer's Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition has cool glasses-free 3D tech, it’s not supported by enough games to justify its $3,500 price.
Devindra Hardawar03.28.2023 'Resident Evil 4' review: A half-step backward for Capcom remakes
The Resident Evil 4 remake starts out strong, but as the game grows in complexity, it becomes clumsy. In comparison to the recent RE2 and RE3 remakes, RE4 feels unfinished, or at least un-finessed.

PlayStation VR2 review: A great headset that should be cheaper
The PSVR2 is a massive step forward from the original PSVR, thanks to its high-resolution screens and innovative features like headset haptics. But its high price and potentially limited library limits its appeal to diehard VR fanatics.
Devindra Hardawar02.16.2023 PlayStation DualSense Edge review: Sony's pricey but powerful sidekick for the PS5
While the DualSense Edge is definitely pricey and its battery life could be better, it offers a number of features that more demanding gamers will appreciate including customizable rear paddles, button remapping, replaceable joysticks and more.
Sam Rutherford02.15.2023'Dead Space' review: The new benchmark for video game remakes
Playing the Dead Space remake feels like snuggling into a cozy sweater made out of bloody, infected flesh and razor-sharp bone fragments. It’s scary, yes, but in a way that makes you laugh after jumping in fright.

Ayaneo 2 review: A more premium (and pricier) take on the Steam Deck
For people searching for a more premium take on the Steam Deck, the Ayaneo 2 is it. It's got a faster CPU, a much nicer screen and a more compact design, though it costs more too.
Forspoken review: A magical world with several cracks
In the PS5- and PC-exclusive, Forspoken, you control the agile, angry Frey, slinging elemental attacks (and f-bombs) at multiple monsters before leaping off a cliff face and swinging from a molten outcrop. You keep moving, through the lands of Athia, through the adventure, because it’s really fun and satisfying, but also because when you slow down, you start to see the cracks. Fortunately, the fluidity of movement and range of spells, keeps the core gameplay entertaining.
Mat Smith01.24.2023HBO’s ‘The Last of Us’ successfully trades hordes of monsters for emotional depth
HBO's The Last of us, which premieres on Sunday January 15th, is a faithful adaptation of the video game that should delight existing fans and find a new audience.

Samsung Odyssey Ark review: When bigger isn't always better
Samsung's Odyssey Ark is notable for being the first dedicated 55-inch gaming monitor, but its software is half-baked and the screen is sometimes too overwhelming.
Devindra Hardawar12.09.2022 Ayaneo’s Air Pro is a taste of the portable PC gaming future
A PC in a handheld, it's not a new idea, but thanks to new companies with high design standards and better mobile CPUs, true gaming on the go is finally happening.
James Trew12.08.2022'The Callisto Protocol' didn't scare me, it just made me mad
The Callisto Protocol steadily introduces enemies, abilities, weapons and beautiful, mazelike environments – until, eventually, the game collapses under the weight of its own mechanics.
